Financial Planning Investment Management Tax Coordination

Why this work matters to me.

I care about this work because I understand what it feels like to have real decisions in front of you and not want to mess them up.

I am married, building a business, thinking about taxes, investing, and the same long-term tradeoffs many of my clients are working through. I am not sitting across the table from people as if their financial life is just a spreadsheet. I know these decisions are personal. They affect your family, your time, your options, and the way you feel about the future.

That is the kind of perspective I wanted Brooks Wealth Management to reflect. Not advice that feels generic. Not advice that starts with a product. And not advice that treats each decision in isolation.

Why I am qualified to serve this group.

Before starting Brooks Wealth Management in Colorado and later moving the firm to California, I worked at two of the largest advisory firms in Colorado. Across those roles, I helped build and review hundreds of financial plans for individuals and families navigating retirement, investments, taxes, equity compensation, cash flow, insurance, and estate considerations.

That background matters because the families I serve rarely have one isolated question. The investment decision usually connects to the tax decision. The tax decision connects to the cash flow decision. The career decision connects to retirement. The home, kids, stock compensation, savings rate, and estate plan all start to interact.

My role is to help bring structure to that. I use industry-leading planning and investment tools, and when a client’s situation calls for it, I coordinate with tax, legal, and other investment professionals so the advice is not happening in a silo.

How I try to be different.

I live and breathe this work. I spend a lot of my time studying planning strategies, investment research, tax rules, technology, markets, and the real-life decisions families are facing. Not because I want clients to care about every technical detail, but because I believe the details matter.

My goal is to make the complicated parts feel more organized. I want clients to understand what we are doing, why it matters, and how each decision fits into the bigger picture. The work should feel thoughtful, data-backed, and steady — especially when the stakes are higher.

Brooks Wealth Management was built to serve a limited number of households so the relationship can stay personal. I want to know the people I work with, understand what they are trying to build, and help them make decisions that compound well over time.

The best place to start is a conversation.

Even if we are not the right fit to work together, my goal is to leave you better off than I found you.
